What we experienced

The park is peaceful and suits all ages. The safari lets you see rhinos, wildebeest, zebras, crocodiles, hippos and lions.

Between outings, we even went for a swim. For food, there’s the Gazebo, a classic Congolese restaurant.

In the evening, the two of us had dinner at the Mont Ndeke restaurant, set inside an old plane fuselage: a quirky experience, perfect for a couples’ evening, while the kids stayed with family in Kinshasa.

Careful: booking directly is almost impossible, especially from Europe. Go through a local agency.
